My life story

I'm the one holding the baby. She's not mine, but she's my niece. This picture was taken over a year and a half ago in Korea. My parents, Dart and Yong Sun Nielson are standing next to me, my sister, Lucy, and her husband, William Barber on on the left. Oh, and the little blonde one is my niece, Alyssa. Ain't she cute. We went to Korea two summers ago to visit our family. My mom is Korean, and most of her family lives there.
I love my family and don't know what I'd do without them. This is one of the best pictures that we've taken with all of us together like this. It's great.
I was born in Las Vegas, Nevada in October of 1979. But I grew up in Dolores, Colorado and don't remember ever living in Vegas. My dad grew up in the same home town, so our family is known there.
I'm the youngest, which means I'm spoiled. But it's a nice spot to be in, cause I usually get what I want. ;) j/k.
My parents pretty much raised me in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, cause my mom joined when I was two or three, so I don't remember anything else.
I graduated High School in 1998 and went strait to BYU that summer where I started my University education. I decided to serve a mission for the LDS church in 2000 and I was sent to Korea, Pusan. I lived there for about 17 months and learned to love the Korean people. I was a great blessing to learn the language and be able to speak with my mother and her family when I returned home. I had my first real conversation with my grandma in June of 2002. Cool, huh?
I'm still in school, but hope to finish in the next year, while working full time for Bee-Hive Clothing.
Well, that's my life so far...... I'll keep you updated.
